Dropping points at home is not good for Strikas

Despite being one of the top five league contenders, Supa Strikas will be taking their next fixture as seriously as ever, especially after dropping 3 valuable points at home against Sultans. A win for Strikas in their next game will hopefully bring back the fight as the Super League heats up.

Another loss for Strikas would hand the advantage to their rivals – Invincible United, Iron Tank and Cosmos - as they battle for top position on the Super League table. However, Coach is confident that his team will have the skills to overcome their next opponents.

“We can’t afford to drop points at home as this will come back to haunt us,” said Coach, “But we will recover from our rough patch and be back on top soon.”

Coach pointed out some of the players who could make a difference to Strikas’ victory, but only if they start to show what the word “teamwork” means to them. He believes El Matador, Klaus, Shakes, Cool Joe and Twisting Tiger need to up their game and come to the party when Strikas hit the field.

“Everyone is a key player in my plan to win. If they can’t work as a team nothing will go right. The key to success in our next game will be teamwork, not solo playing,” said Coach.

Strikas have proven before that they can come back and produce the same magic that won them the Super League last season. The players will be tested, and teamwork will be the key to success as Coach said.
