After another superb performance from Supa Strikas against Invincible United, Shakes said he is ready to take down favourites Cosmos in a game he calls No Retreat, No Surrender… the Super League FINAL game in two weeks’ time.
Tension is high in both camps as the winner of the game between Strikas and Cosmos will be crowned 2008 Super League champs. Despite Strikas beating Cosmos last year in the Super League, star striker Shakes said things have changed in both teams and it’s going to be a different ball game.
Shakes, son of the legendary Supa Strikas forward Jomo, also said their Coach might change a couple of players and implement new strategies in order to break down the difficult Cosmos side.
“We’re ready for Cosmos! It’s do or die for my team and we will do whatever it takes to make sure we are the ones who are alive at the end of the game,“ said the young striker.
