Coach says his players will have to be ready for one of the BIGGEST games in the club’s history, when Supa Strikas clash with rivals Cosmos in the ultimate showdown. Strikas must be able to hold Cosmos if they want to be Super League champions.

Coach, who has successfully led Supa Strikas to their second Super League final, said his research on Cosmos has just begun. Coach told Supanews he now knows Cosmos’ strengths and weaknesses, but this is a team that’s always full of surprises.

Coach’s lowdown on Cosmos

Game Plan:

Cosmos’ game plan revolves around the guidance of their captain, Ligo. They are a tough, unpredictable team, and are usually stimulated by Ligo’s never-say-die attitude. And their striker Ninja will use whatever he has to ensure Cosmos are victorious.

Strength:

The striking position is where they’re deadly, with quick exchange and attacks that leave you without any chance of recovery. We must definitely shut them down in that position.

Weakness:

If they are under pressure they crack, so our main target will be closing down their playmakers Ninja and Roco. We will give them no chance.

Dangerman:

It’s definitely Ninja – the deadliest player in the team with an aggressive play.

And Bolo is the main man at the back who will be trying to stop Shakes from scoring.
