Cosmos plans to powercut Shakes, but can they?

Cosmos captain, Ligo, told Supanews their game plan for Supa Strikas is to close down their strikers, especially Shakes. This is a plan Ligo believes will end the Men in Red’s superb run when the two sides meet in their Super League FINAL game.

Despite being the underdogs in the upcoming fixture, there’s a strong belief in the Cosmos camp that they can contain Strikas’ attacking striker, Shakes, who is the key men in the team’s striking force.

“I’ve been studying Supa Strikas’ progress from the beginning of the tournament and I’ve realized that Shakes is the player who causes more damages than everyone. He is the one who scores the crucial goals for the team,” he said.

When thinking of Shakes, many would agree with Ligo’s words: “He is one of the best players from Strikaland and the greatest guy who always stays cool in tough situations!”

“We’ll focus most of our attention on Shakes and try to keep him away from the ball. This is a game plan that should work if we keep him tightly marked. We can’t allow him to play his game against us… or he will systematically tear us apart.”

If Ligo’s prediction is anything to go by, Cosmos might have a strong chance of beating the Men in Red. However, one wonders if anyone can stop the Shakes, who is playing arguably the best football of his LIFE!
