Shakes helps Strikas solve Skarra mystery

Supa Strikas emerged victorious after an explosive 4-2 encounter with defending Super League champions, Invincible United. Their chance to triumph is now only a few games away as they put pressure on log leaders Cosmos.

With the Super League season heating up, every point is crucial. And Supa Strikas showed they won’t give up as they cut down Vince’s Invincible United at Strikaland this Sunday.

United went to this game with the “Skarra Plan”. Skarra was rumored to have been training with a special coach to get fit for the titanic clash. And on match day Strikas players and fans were shocked to see Skarra on the bench.

The game started very well for the home side as they tormented the visitors. It was like United were playing against shadows as Strikas controlled the first half. Cool Joe and Dancing Rasta were showing their class in the middle. Twisting Tiger broke the deadlock and Strikas led 1-0. It was no surprise when Cool Joe scored a wonderful goal in the 38th minute to move the home side to 2-0 up.

However, when the game resumed in the second stanza, United had Skarra and he was looking stronger than ever. The United striker stole the show as he overpowered the Supa Strikas players from midfield to defence. Skarra was untouchable as he scored quick goals to bring United back into the game.

All the Supa Strikas supporters were stunned! Skarra was like an unstoppable machine. However, Shakes discovered that Skarra was wearing a watch. “I knew when I saw it that Skarra was up to something,” Shakes said later.

Minutes later Shakes spoke with the entire team about how to break Skarra down. Suddenly Strikas were all over United and Skarra was struggling. It seemed like they’d broken the “Skarra mystery” and the Men in Red started to up their game. Vince wondered how Strikas broke Skarra’s plan. The Men in Red scored two superb goals to make it 4-2, breaking the hearts of United supporters and crushing their chance to defend their title.

“It was a rough and tough game and Skarra and United really showed us that it won’t be easy to beat Cosmos in the FINAL,” Coach said after the final whistle, “Thanks to Shakes we managed to discover their secret!”
