Asia’s finest, FC Nakama, have landed in Strikaland ahead of their Super League clash with the host, Supa Strikas. Despite Strikas’ brilliant home record this season, Coach’s boys haven’t beaten Nakama on home soil and so this will be a great test!
Coach said he was happy with the squad he’s chosen to face Nakama. All the players have shown commitment, determination and team spirit, and Coach is confident the team will overcome the Japanese giants.
Strikas’ track record against Nakama at home is not good. They haven’t beaten them at Strikaland yet, and the Men in Red lost 2-1 last season in the Super League. This might affect some of the players, but Coach is optimistic the Men in Red will triumph this time around.
“Nakama is a big team, but we definitely know what to expect going into the game. They’ll be fighting to keep their 100% record against us at our own ground, and we’ll be fighting to end it,” said Coach.
“This won’t be new for us as we have an idea of what kind of soccer the Japanese play. We have studied their danger man, Miko Chen, and his style of play. Let’s just say I’ve got a surprise for Shakes and the team!” added Coach.
