Klaus back and determined to be included in squad

Supa Strikas striker, Klaus, is back and determined to be among the eleven players to represent the Men in Red in their crucial game against FC Nakama. Klaus was injured four weeks ago in a head collision at training before the Clube Palmentieri game.

Klaus, who has regained his form in training, is on the verge of putting his name on the list of the 11-man squad that will be named in a week’s time by Coach.

Klaus, who last appeared in the victorious squad that beat FC Hydra in July, has stiff competition for a place in the squad. Strikers Shakes and El Matador have been on top form these past games, and Klaus will be painfully aware of that.

Most sports nuts agree that Klaus would be a better choice if Coach plays him as an attacking midfielder, rather than a striker as competition is strong in the striking zone. Klaus is well known for his speed and this could be a bonus for Strikas when they attack.

Strikas’ game against FC Nakama might see the return of Klaus, but all that will depend on Coach’s final decision when he names his squad.

“I’m hungry to vear my number 2 jersey again. Let’s hope all my hard vurk at training vill be good enough for me to be included in ze team,” said Klaus.
