Coach gives Shakes and Cool Joe the thumbs-up

Supa Strikas’ Coach praised his striker, Shakes, and crossing king, Cool Joe, for organising a small tournament at Strikaland. The event was attended by hundreds of school children as part of the “Look for New Talent” campaign.

Cool Joe and Shakes took time out on Wednesday despite the Men in Red’s crucial game against FC Nakama next weekend. The two players were the organisers of the “Look for New Talent” campaign, to search for young talent across Strikaland.

Coach didn’t doubt Shakes’ and Cool Joe’s ability to arrange a tournament to help young kids show off their skills to the world. It was also a way for Strikas to scout for players for the future. It was a fun day with everyone enjoying the festivities, and a lot of new talent was discovered.

And to add to the festivities, Big Bo, The Blok and Twisting Tiger made their way to the stadium to show their support. They played their part by showing the kids the “cool moves” they use in every Super League game.

“Cool Joe’s and Shakes’ efforts show what people can do if they really pull together. It was a great day for everyone. But the real deal was that we’ve seen a lot of promising youngsters, who we might sign to join our development team,” said Coach.
