Miko Chen, F.C. Nakama striker and friend of Supa Strikas midfielder Twisting Tiger, told Supanews he has something big planned for the Men in Red ahead of their Super League clash… but didn’t reveal the details!
Chen’s team came close to winning the Super League title two seasons ago, and seems to have the upper hand over Strikas after winning the first leg. A win in their next fixture will move Nakama to second position on the log, while a loss for Strikas will move them to third position.
“Tiger left us. But that didn’t destroy us, it made us stronger!” Chen said. He added that Nakama will make sure Shakes and El Matador don’t touch the ball by closing down suppliers Dancing Rasta, Cool Joe and especially Twisting Tiger.
But this is not enough for Chen, who said Nakama have a unique game plan for the Men in Red. And one wonders what that could be…
“Come 12 October, everyone will witness Strikas losing at home to the Nakama warriors,” he added, although he would not even hint at what he has in store for the home team.
