Strikas VS Nakama: An epic showdown
Coach announced to the media today that Supa Strikas will be playing their next Super League game against Twisting Tiger’s former team, FC Nakama, the best team on the Asian continent.
In an interview Coach confirmed that Strikas will play against Nakama, the team they drew with in the first leg of the Super League in Japan. Coach also said the Men in Red should watch out for Nakama’s striker, Miko Chen, who has promised to take down Strikas.
“It’s a big honour for us to host Asia’s top team. Knowing that our team is on a winning streak, we can promise our fans we’ll keep it up, which will move us closer to our dream of being crowned the 2008 Super League champions,” added Coach.
Strikas are looking focused and ready, but they must not take Nakama for granted. They’ll be fighting till the referee’s final whistle… because this game will put one of these teams out of Super League contention.
Despite this gigantic showdown, Twisting Tiger is happy that he’ll see old faces come the clash.
“It’s going to be a tough game. Nakama are having a great season and are also third on the log below us. We must not allow them to relax on the field as that could be deadly for us. They must be under pressure the entire game. We only need three, and that’s what we must get,” said Tiger.
