Shakes is as good as his father – Don Aldo

Clube Palmentieri’s dangerous striker, Don Aldo, told Supanews that Shakes is as good as his father Jomo was during his football era. This follows after Shakes showed his skills against the Brazilian wonder boy in a great match on Sunday.

After the game, Don Aldo praised Shakes. He said Shakes’ performance reminded of the old days when Jomo used to take on legendary Brazilian striker Edwin. Shakes’ father died long before his young son ever played the game professionally, but Don Aldo feels Shakes is continuing the legacy.

“Despite what people are saying Shakes is as good as his dad was! Jomo kicked the ball like a comet, blazing a trail from his foot to the net,” said Don Aldo.

“I’m labeled as one of greatest player now and I will label Shakes as a great player as well. It’s always good to face tough opponents as this makes you raise your game, like Shakes did on Sunday. He showed class, but next time I will have my own surprises!” he said with a smile on his face.

Don Aldo, who is also gunning for the big prize, said he hopes his team learned from Sunday’s defeat and hopes they’ll bounce back in the league.

“The race to win the Super League is not over. We still have an open chance to be crowned champions!” he added.
